YUM. The Mac and cheese and chicken sandwich were so good, so cheesy. Crispy fries too. Loved their sweet tea. All the food we got was clearly delicious, and it came out within a reasonable amount of time. Looking forward to coming back here

The family and I happened to be in Richmond for an event and Buttermilk and Honey was recommended to us to get some lunch. The inside of the restaurant was very nice with lots of seating. Ordering is normally done through a kiosk but I had a lot of questions, so they very kindly helped me with getting my order in. I got the "OG" chicken sandwich + fries and some fried green tomatoes, and for my daughters (9 and 11) I got chicken tenders and fries. The girls gave the chicken tenders 2 thumbs up. My OG sandwich was great! The fries were so-so. The fried green tomatoes were served with a spicy sauce and..... Relish?!?! My mom was from the south and would make fried green tomatoes and relish was never a toping. The spicy sauce was good but had I known they would be putting relish on top I would have told them to hold that. Overall the chicken items were great but the sides were just ok. I would still go back and get my fried green tomatoes without relish .

This place is everything Southern soul food should be with the best modern flare! I came here with a group and unfortunately forgot to take pictures. However, this pictures wouldn't have done it justice anyways! I had fried green tomatoes and fried chicken. Growing up in the Deep South I'm staunch critic of my beloved FGT so it's hard to impress me. But I swear if I ever get my mom to go to RVA this place is the first place in taking her! The service is very helpful. You order from a tablet kiosk so there's no question about what you did or did not order, and in here for it. I needed to go up to the counter to get some to go boxes and while the cook was busy prepping food she was also attentive and kind enough to help and make sure I had the right size to go boxes. This vibes are very modern and it feels as if it's absolutely perfect for the Richmond restaurant scene. Can't wait to come back soon!

The OG chicken sandwich is my go to and favorite. The chicken is always crunchy and tasty. The Mac n cheese is also very delicious. Although the portions are mostly right for the sides except for my previous order. I was charged full price and the container was half empty of the serving, which I wasn't able to be refunded for. But most of the time all is well with my to go orders.

Basically, it's "chicken & fries". So, if you're in the mood for a chicken sandwich or chicken tenders, you should check it out! I loved the seasoned chicken strips.... Not too spicy, not bland, but just right! My crinkle cut fries were seasoned too! Crinkle Cut is my favorite cut of french fries, so I was definitely happy. I selected the mumbo sauce, which was a seasoned hot sauce. I think I'd prefer a different sauce next time. We ordered online before arriving via the website. This worked out perfectly! When we arrived, our food was prepared. We went to the counter grabbed our meals, which were packaged "to go", found a seat, and enjoyed our filling lunch. Others were waiting 15-20 minutes for their food to be freshly prepared. Hubby ordered the OG chicken sandwich with fries and he devoured his meal! This is a great place for lunch! The vibe was lively and old school r&b was playing in the background. We enjoyed our experience!

Food here was impeccable - truly delicious! (5/5). I got the grilled chicken wrap and it tasted super fresh and crisp. Ranch slaw was okay, but could've used a bit more flavor in my opinion. It was a self service kind of restaurant though so you order at the tablet and pick up your food at the counter (3/5). The vibe of the place was kind of cute but nothing crazy (3/5). This is a place that is like Guy Fieri certified or something like that, they had a cute sign about it.

Came here with baby boy looking for a bite while we were in the area. The location was spacious and ordering was efficient on kiosks. I can't really speak on the service since we ordered through a kiosk and he grabbed the food from the counter once it was ready but the employees seem kind and had a positive attitude Now let's get into the food. We ordered a regular chicken sandwich with a side of hot sauce with fries. I got the OG chicken sandwich which has lettuce, tomato, spicy honey, ranch and shaved pickles. I got that with a side of mambo sauce, pimento Mac and cheese and a sweet tea. We both enjoyed our food. The fries were thick crinkle cut (which I love) and SEASONED. The hot sauce was incredible with large specs of pepper. My sandwich the was super thick, juicy and I loved the thinly shaved pickles with the ranch and hot honey. Easily 9/10, however with it being a heavy sandwich the bottom bun gets soggy quickly. The Mac and cheese was solid but I would have loved for it to be creamier. Sweet Tea was the perfect accompaniment for this meal 10/10. Overall we enjoyed our bites and I would definitely eat here again. I'd love to try their fried green tomatoes and collard greens!
